I got a minibike!

i found a frame 4 ten bucks at a engine show and put my old go kart 4hp on it bought wheels from harbor freight got a sprocket and chain made a chain tensioner an threw on some bike bars
it says rupp on the label under the seat seat is home made from ply wood foam and a plastic tarp

on my first ride the throttle got stuck wide open and it has no kill switch i was choken it to shut it off but i couldnt reach it so i jumped off an almost died. needless to say it has a kill switch now

yeah, looks like someone cut the rear ends off that one. AKA took off rear shocks.

Mr. Mozart, I'm real sorry but this is hilarious. Same thing happened to my dad on his 650cc BSA motorcycle when I was 10 and I soiled myself laughing.

I'm curious - in retrospect would you rather have remained seated and drove the bike until there's no more gas or would you take the ...plunge...and jump off again.

rear shocks

ya i wasnt sure if it was suposed to have shocks in the back or not
didnt come with any but every rupp i c has either rear only both front and rear or none at all. i havent seen pics of 1 with just front shocks
any way it rides nice unless the chain falls off which happens now and then even with a tensioner
any way it has atandard fork slots in the back and im not sure if someone welded them on
they look factory

i live in the city so i cant just ride around continuously without getting in trouble. besides it was wide open and goin pretty fast
i was just tryin to pick up the back wheel but i got dragged instead LOL

N E one know where to get a minibike throtle linkage plate for a techumpsy HS40? my lawnmower shop which is really good with that stuff usually , didnt have it so im stuck. Again. i have a relly good pic but is to big

Uhnook and remove all the governor stuff, attach your cable directly to the carb butterfly.

im not tryin to race with it i just want to ride it at car shows so its gotta be safe
the engines kinda tired any way and its the only thing i own that still has a working governor
if any one knows where i can get the linkage assembly please let me know
