how do I wire a killswitch.

this is my engine that I am trying to hook a killswitch to. I am wondering how to do this. not sure if the pictures help much. does anyone know how to do this? I bet this gets asked a lot so sorry in advance.

Run a wire off that male connector on the coil to a switch, and run the other end of the switch to ground.

So wait... my B&S trimmer has a little wire coming out of it, if I touch that to a metal part on the motor it grounds it... what happens if I touched that wire? :)

If your engine has CDI ignition then pulling off the plug wires can destroy the CDI box. I know that cranking the GS engine shouldn't be done without the plug wires connected (according to the GS workshop manual)

is the tab you are talking about kap, the one in the back left corner? Or is the tab you speak of the one that is larger and looks bent?

There opposed twin lawn mower engines its just a coil so its fine...
