How can i make my go kart climb hills better

I just got this 200cc rambler off road go kart and its having a hard time getting up hills

What is the condition of your kart? What kind of hills are we talking about. What's your rear tire size? What's your gear ratio?
So many questions......

Its got a 200cc engine and the kart weigh about 330lbs plus me about 210 it says the kart is rated for 800 lbs and the drive tires are 23in. The clutch sprocket has 14 teeth and the axial sprocket has 31 was wondering if changing the gear ratio would help and if so what should a change it to

Would it hurt it any if i whent to a 12 on the clutch and a 37 on the axial

What 200cc engine exactly is it equipped with?
Your typical starting ratio is 6:1 depending on OD of rear tires.

How about 12 on the clutch, and like 60 or 70 on the axle?
That might be a start on getting you up a hill.

You've got your sail foam turned the wrong way, btw.

31÷14= 2.2 gear ratio.
37÷12= 3.0

If you want to climb hills your gonna need a much lower ratio. A bigger number like 8 or 10 to 1 ratio.

Its got a Chinese made df motor and other then that i dont know much about it i couldent finde much els out about it

This looks like like a torque converter or a gear reduction of some sort???

Its got an automatic centrifugal clutch so i would go with torque converter?
