Keep your bit oiled up, stops it clogging up with ali fillings, JB weld epoxy or aluminium solder/weld to address break through inlet side. I tig or Ali solder/weld if I break through the exhaust. Tried a few oils, ATF works quite well for me.
You can get a cheap £12 flexible extension for a dremel, works perfectly for a GX head, more control.

Where is it thin in the exhaust port so I can try and make sure I don’t go through on the second head?

I think I did a lot of my port work with smaller bits. I like the sanding cones on the pneumatic die grinder and I think I liked chain saw sharpening bits in the dremelIMG_7860.pngIMG_7861.jpeg

Ported the head and installed .010 head gasket. Gained 9 mph and a lot of mid range pull. OEM cam and carb in this one. Definitely worth porting even if that is all you’re gonna do!

So I recently added the hot 265 cam to a predator 212 that had nothing more than a stage 1 kit and stiffer valve springs. It pulls good up to probably 3500 rpm then starts bogging. Runs great up to that point. I’ve tried bigger main jets and nothing helps. Plenty of clearance with the valve springs. Anyone had this issue?
Governor removed?
