just get a new coil and maybe carb and itll be fine. it burns on the inside all the time

Ed. Theres LOTS of plastic parts in a lawnboy engine. Flywheel fins Somtimes plastic. Fuel tank plastic. Starter gear plastic. Theres more like pull cords.

I never knew what a Lawnboy was until I saw David @ his Canadian farm fix one.

What makes them so special other than they're green and 2 cycle?

As far as being special idk, maybe because they've been around so long? They seem to have a distinct sound too (could be just me).

Haha, Briggs & Stratton for me! Amazingly, Tecumseh's aren't that bad. We have a 2000 Tecumseh 6.25HP, always ran below the "low" line for pretty much 6 years, on the same oil.
