Man that kart looks so flash! ten times better than when it first came out, nice job, expecially the paint job

One dunk in the water should be enough, remember that iron oxide is made when oxygen contacts the surface of iron, water does speed it up but then again you wouldnt want it too rusty.

How many ody's have you got now mate?

I am pretty sure this Ody will never rust again. The Por15 paint will hold up pretty good. I seen pics of classic cars in Katrina that sat under salt water for weeks. No damage to the por15 painted parts. Brake fluid does not even touch it. I cannot chip it with a pipe wrench blows. Hard to fathom but it's true.

I have 4 Ody's right now working. I am building a 5th one for my little brother next. Military themed Ody. I also have 3 basket cases out back.

I am going to have to think of a redneck way to haul all my Odys this summer. When I ride these Odys we go camping with about 20 friends and friends. Lots of trucks so I will just find a way to get them there. It's more like a vintage group of friends. Lots of little 100 125 and 80 enduro trail bikes. No banshees and 250r. Just slow trail fun. Lots of ATC three wheelers as well. You would never think you could have so much fun on a little atc110 three wheeler. Until you go riding 7 by 7 side by side racing with good friends. It's a blast. Are night rides are just crazy. We plan to make all the ATC110 into mini bikes. Much better for the trails we ride here in Oregon.

When will you be picking up the carb? It's ready to go. Just bring the other parts with you for I can put it back. Was clogged pretty good in 2 spots.

How is the tank coming?

Would tomorrow be alright? And I decided I'm just going to seal the tank. My grandpa has a friend that sealed his gas tank on a model t and hopefully he can help us. If not I might consult with you.

As long as it is before 11am. Best about 10am or so. I work swing so not a morning person.

Bring the other parts. Your tank is really rusty so make sure he knows what he is doing. If he wants to use a pruduct called Kreem then I would bring it to me.

I will electrolis it and por15 line it for free. just buy the por15 kits for about $45. I will warenty the work as well. Even if your tank has pin holes. Also with the por15 kit it will not wreck the paint like Kreem will. Do you see any tiny bubbles forming under the paint? Look on the under side of the tank good.

The only way to remove all the rust right is electrolis.

Heck just drop the bike and tank off this weekend with $45. Pick the bike up next weekend running. Not bad deal for $45. I will even do a thread on how to clean a rusty tank the right way. Using your tank for the pics and vids. I will let you know if I can repair the tank within a few secounds of looking at. Some tanks are just to thin rusted to be safe. Some are full of pin holes which can be fixed in most cases. Also will take a compression test to see if we are wasting are time. You said it ran when last parked. So pretty sure it will be simple to get running. Your carb and petcock was so full of rust dust that it would have never ran in a million years. You petcock filters did a good job though. You carb could have been much worse. The pecock was petrofied rust clogged. LOL.

Did you say it had spark?

If you drop that bike an $45 or a por15 kit. I am pretty sure I can get it running. Be ready to ride this summer.
