You really need an impact screwdriver to work on any of these old japs. Otherwise every philips head sidecover screw will be stripped in no time. rest the bike on a milk crate or something and turn the back tire by hand slowly and look for the master link.

Lawnmower engine will be no fun, however if you do you can ship that cr motor to me haha.

Seriously though, it would be a fun bike and it doesnt look too bad. Let me know how removing the chain goes, and ill help you from there. These things are very simple to work on, and troubleshoot.

take it, if hes offering cash. It is an old bike, and a honda elsinore at that, so it might be worth something restored, but 650 is a great deal for u.

take deal, but dont be surprised if he tries to get the money back because it has an unfixable problem. Dont put a mower engine on it. Get a push bike crank and all that you need and pretend it has an engine and pedal till your hearts content.....if you want of course. Or you could learn about the bike via a pdf or haynes manual, then strip it down and rebuild.

:bannana:wow, id love a bike like that. looks to me though its best to do a restoration. if you have no idea where the piston is, it will take a very long time but hey everyone starts somewhere. since the bike was free theres nothing to loose, but it sure looks like that could have been sold for 2-300.

good thing u sold it. If u were asking where a piston was you really werent ready for a project of this kind. You would just end up breaking it more. btw the picture looks as if the clutch cable was intact so i dont no what u were on about. The clutch lever on on the left handle bar.
