Dude...your going to JB weld or epoxy a bearing to some plastic pipe. Just the belt tension will crack the JB weld. And most flywheels have a tappered shaft so good luck!

another reason to use blower impeller. its not tapered and since its more efficient you wont need it spinning as fast

I couldnt agree more man. Its perfect because you already have a inlet, Outlet and bearings and such. You could make some pretty serious boost!

It has a little fuel pump inside it that keeps pressure inside the carb, it has a needle/seat that works on pressure not a float allowing it to work in any direction. The being pressurized bit will make running a blower through it alot easier.

Also, it would be much easier to just buy a freakin' used turbo off a smaller car engine and modify that to work not some ghetto rigged flywheel that doesn't produce nearly as much boost as a actual turbo that was designed for it....just my 2...

Well you could either do it the exhaust way or run a belt to the turbo impeller. I doubt it would make much difference since your using a little flathead anyway

the blower idea is good, I might try it if i can find a donor blower

and a real turbo first off means lots of fabrications of brackets and such, and its too complicated cause you have to have an oul tank. plus its heavy

Sir, you do know that this is the stuff legends and billionares are made of? An odd ball with a crazy idea which everybody sez and dismisses as not doable or not worthwhile.

I have got nuffink other than moral support that I can offer you in your quest for fame and excellence.

GO FOR IT!

12,000 rpm epoxy and a straight rod, you are on the right track thinking of supercharging, but beware with those kind of rpm's and the extra heat generated by the air being compressed and the weight of the rotating mass of the flywheel. You will need bearings and some kind of lubrication. Also keep in mind that what ever you puff in has to be able to get out just as fast if not faster to work. If it doesn't explode and fly apart first you will also have to lower the compression ration and retard the timing to avoid detonation. Good luck

I would seriosly drop the epoxy, Pipe and flywheel method and look for safer performance enhancments! Like seriosly whats a cam and some porting gona cost?
