Simple- I may even forget the narrowing inthe frame and just go straight box frame. Dimensions will vary on width of motor.
But basically motor next to driver, chain driven 6 speed. Have the shifter next to the driver so I can just pull up or down to shift and a clutch pedal at my feet.
Ok, a few points about the design of a standard shifter frame:
-They're made wide enough to have the engine next to the driver
-The reason the frame cuts in at the front is so the wheels have somewhere to turn to &, therefore, to reduce the width of the front track. If the rails were straight, either the steering would be limited or the track would be massive
I don't get what is bad about the shifter cart plans, are they not strong enough?
I'm too new to this to understand
nothing too simple, you want it to withstand the power of that engine.
IIWM, I'd be looking at a mini buggy; I've seen 125cc 2 stroke powered shifter karts that are absolute animals, obviously, a 250 will be worse.
I'm not saying don't do it, just be aware that it'll likely rip your socks off via your neck...
