after doing some searches for go kart plans i stumbled upon this great site! will try to build a kart for use on some atv trails just gotta do some more research before we dig in!
this will be a project done mostly by myself and my nephew, i have moderate welding experience and i'm pretty mechanically inclined. this will be a great learning experience for my nephew and should be alot of fun for myself aswell! my nephew is 13yrs old and i believe is at a good age to start learning how to use the mig welder.
we have an old 200m ATC (3wheeler) which we plan to use the rear axle and brake from, its a solid suspension but believe we can convert it somehow to except some sort of spring/shock. we also have our eye on a nice 5.5hp motor which will run us $118 canadian, not too bad!
anyways, will save all this good stuff for when we make our blog!
