Hi Guys,
I just joined up, and I'm checking things out.
I have an old Rupp Go Kart that I would like to fix up. Right now I'm trying, without any luck, to get the wheel off the axle on the right side. The nut is short, so any leverage on the breaker bar and the socket wants to ride off of the nut. Tried the impact gun, and still no movement. I've been soaking the nut with penetrating oil. I need to get it apart, as the po butchered the drive gear. I'll probably end up cutting the axle right out and start fresh. I have a few engines for it but no carbs on any of them, so I need to do some searching.
I just picked up 2 Fun Kart Speedsters over the weekend. They needed a little work, but are running pretty good now. Those 3 1/2 hp engines pull the adults around pretty good. I figured the wife was going to have a fit :furious2: when I drug them home. So far she has spent more time on them than any one else :auto: . She's having a blast. She wants me to pick up another one so the kids can ride also.
Anyway, I'm in New York, about 60-70 miles north of NYC.
Nick name comes from me having my Mopars. '71 Dart that I transplanted a 440 into, '71 Road Runner with a 383 4spd that needs to be restored some day when I get some money, and my 340 4spd oops, I mean 440 auto '72 Dodge Demon. I transplanted a big block into this car also. The race 340 that came with it was not put together very well, and had some major issues, so it came out.

Thanks Tyler.
There was no red light. I'm still working on getting my reaction time down to where I can red light.
I've only had this car down the track 3 times so far.
I think the red you saw was the guy walking in front of the camera :2guns: .
