I aim to please. LOL
I SHOULD finish mounting the alternator and installing the winch. I want to wait until I do the DCEN conversion on the HF 90 Amp Flux Core. I have the rectifier. I think I'm going order the Capacitor soon.

Then I'll have a Flux Capacitor Welder, so I should be able to hit 88mph no problem.
Just kidding, this is geared for top speed of 50mph at 5000 RPM and have no idea if it will reach it. Well I think it should. I wouldn't have geared it like this if I didn't.

What do you want to see? The Powerland 420 buggy? The buggy with the 212cc on it? This engine was built for a minibike. I am waiting for a response on some modifications on the kit I want to buy.

ok ,well then stick it on the mini bike, do some mini bike donuts, do a top speed run, and possibly a little burn-out on the mini bike.

Then my life will be complete.

That is why I am asking if I can get the minibike kit sent to me set up with both front and rear hydraulic disc brakes. I don't think it should be "too" difficult to get a caliper on the forks and a front wheel with a rotor. But I'd rather they set it up since they could play around and see if the parts fit and where welds need to be done.

I'm Bored

So I'm looking atThis...
Whipped Cream Cracker N2O kit
http://www.6sigmajetkit.com/nitrous-kits.html
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Small-Engin...4-Stroke-EFI-Carb-5-Bottles-NOS-/230847980630

With some of this...
12VDC 3-5psi 1/4" Fuel Pump
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Univers...ash=item2a5abaedfd:g:R4MAAOSw9mFWKfDK&vxp=mtr

And a little of this....
12VDC 1/4" Normally Closed Fuel Solenoid
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-1-4-2-W...d=282216863471&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

Using the Calculator here...
http://www.robietherobot.com/nitrousjetcalculator.htm
4 psi Fuel Pressure
900 psi N2O bottle pressure
0.014" N2O Jet (#80-79 drill bit)
0.014" Fuel Jet
8.85HP (7.52HP to the wheels)

I've done a little research....
Something about N2O liquid vapor equilibrium based off temperature...
745 psi bottle pressure at 70*F and 1000 psi bottle pressure at 100*F.
So like 80-90*F for ~900 psi.

I've Asked some Questions
The 6Sigma Kit says it comes with a N2O flow limiting jet. You pick engine size and they pick a jet for it.

I asked if the jet was part of the cracker or somewhere further down the line. I also asked if it was able to be swapped.

They said it was in the cracker and could be swapped.

I'm still curious as to what kind of Jet it is. Is it a threaded brass jet like in a carb?

I said I'd want something around 0.016" (I really want 0.014"). They said they use similar sizes but metric. They weren't specific in their reply about the jet.

I've Built it in my Head
With the push of a button, I can have "jet-metered" N2O coming through the "5 ft of 3/16 Clear Poly NOS Hose" from a "bottle" at roughly 900 psi. (No N2O solenoid needed)

I can have a 12V fuel pump (3-5psi) and 12V fuel solenoid for fairly cheap. Maybe fed from small separate tank with higher octane fuel? I assume I can just connect the two lines with a "Y" then feed into the carb adapter with the barbed fitting that came for a pulse pump.

Thinking I can make a fuel jet out of a plastic fitting. Some kind of plug or something drilled through with a #80 drill bit. Or a nozzle burned closed and drilled through? HOSE CLAMPS!

Seems like it should work. Maybe do a 1, 2, 3 count? ONE Pump, TWO Solenoid, THREE Nitrous.

Or do I just spray the dry shot, as it comes?

Time to sleep:sleeping:

you can run it very rich and dry shot, or run it slightly rich and hope your wet shot works out.

However, there are two other things to consider.

1 Timing

http://www.badasscars.com/index.cfm...ct_id=357/category_id=13/mode=prod/prd357.htm

2 Ring Gap

http://www.wiseco.com/PDFs/Manuals/RingEndGap.pdf

Provided you have a forged piston, pand proper ring gap, you would be able to 'safely' run the nitrous.

Anything else and you may risk damaging your engine, esp an engine with a small ring gap.

Also, those cool whip/whip it 'chargers' are the same things that are in that kit. Super cheap alternative refills, or for yoru favorite dessert, or for recreational drug use (just ask demi moore how it could turn out).

n2O... Here is a suggestion.. get it running.. in something.. tune it/get the bugs worked out..
then feed it the N20..
And use a real system like this
https://www.holley.com/products/nitrous/hidden_systems/parts/05029NOS
I foresee "Hemi build #3" real soon..

That was the plan. Get it installed in something, get it tuned right, then see if I could use N2O to turn an 11 sec 1/8 mile into a 10 sec 1/8 mile. Or something along those lines.

I'm not trying to melt the engine until it pushes me around for a bit.

My reading keeps telling me 1 degree retardation per 25HP N2O shot. Retarded from the timing where peak HP was made. So maybe like 1/2 degree for a 5-10HP shot. If I am at 32 now, I might try 30 * BTDC with the Nitrous.

I know a forged piston is recommended and have seen stuff about the ring gaps. I will look deeper into the piston ring gap info.

The engine wouldn't be on the bottle very often or for very long. Only when racing against my previous 1/8 mile times. LOL.

I think the 20g bottles last for about 8 seconds, IIRC. Perfect for an 1/8 Mile drag race. LOL

Just dreaming right now, but this might happen out of boredom eventually.

To appease the gentlemen of the forum I will be ordering a home for my engine.

As expected, the 6" El Lobo Minibike Kit with 54T sprocket and Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes from Rick @ Minichoppersocal.com

He's adding an option on the site so I can order the bike with the disc brake. I asked about the front brake and he said there isn't much room and the hydraulic disc brake is a safety issue in the front. He doesn't want people going over the handle bars. I said it was strictly for burnout purposes. LOL

I might be able to do the rear brake myself for cheaper, but I'm not exactly sure what parts will work.... Rotor size, Caliper size,.... and I'm not a decent welder so $130 isn't a terrible price for the complete kit with caliper mount welded on.

Minibike Kit - $350
Disc Brake - $129 (Rear only)
Shipping - $60
$539

Unless I order it powder coated?????
Or with a cooler seat???

I'm not a very good painter. Their powder coating prices seem reasonable ($110 I think), but I don't baby these bikes. I'd rather be able to touch up the paint since I can't fix powder coat.

Rattle Cans by me or Powder Coat by them? I don't think they offer RootBeer or Burple as Powder Coat Options.

Top pic shows standard seat and Disc Brake.
Bottom pic shows cool seat and the powder coat color I like.

I could live with Banner Blue

If going for a real system, I like this one.
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/61025-10p-single-cylinder-proton-system-w-10-lb-bottle.html
It is a wet system and has included jets for less HP (10HP is smallest included, which is still bigger than I want to try). They sell smaller jets. 0.009", 0.010", 0.012", 0.014",...

I want a wet system so I don't have to run rich if not using N2O.

The solenoids come packaged together in the "Proton" assembly.
It has a fuel pump, 1.0 lb bottle, nozzle, jets, stainless hoses, relay, switches, clamps... Its a bit more expensive than the sneaky pete, but seems like a decent system, at least to me.

So I joined some groups on Facebook. Minibike groups, Predator Engine groups,....

First post I see after they add me if a guy with issue on his 212cc Hemi. Valve train issues. Says he is using 1/4" pushrods. I asked if he meant 3/16". He says no 1/4". I tell him 1/4" pushrods are for big blocks. I may get booted from this group quickly.

I dug a little deeper on the cheap whipped cream N2O kit.
They said the smallest jet they use is 0.40mm so ~0.016"
That is bigger than I wanted to try, but it will do. The calculator says to use a 0.016" fuel jet with 4 psi fuel pressure (assuming 900psi N2O pressure) to make ~11HP or 9HP to the wheels.

The smallest kit they sell is for up to 100 cc engines. If they are running a dry setup and using a 0.4mm N20 jet on 100cc engines, then I wonder if I will need bigger?

At least if I get the smallest, I should be able to drill it bigger. They are still not straight forward with exactly what this jet is and how it is installed.
