The list of possibilities is endless, we need lots more information... & pics wouldn't hurt...
What type of kart?
What type of engine?
What type of drive system?

image.jpgI think this may be the problem. I don't know where this wire was connected. Here's a pic

How did you come to that conclusion? You said:

it stop moving but the engine was still on and when you push the gas the engine revs up but no moving.

That would indicate that it's not an engine problem...

Unless you have an electric clutch, I don't see the connection (pardon the pun...)

The most obvious answer is your clutch died; when you rev the engine, what moves?

I would say that either your clutch is shot, or maybe your throttle cable has snapped. That is the cable I have circled.

Get a friend to push the pedal and you stand at the back to see if the cable from the pedal is moving the throttle. Do this while the engine is off.

that wire you're holding is for hooking up a headlight (i believe).

i see that you have a centrifugal clutch. when the engine revs (obviously your throttle cable is good), does the clutch spin, turning the chain?

a good clear video showing all the parts in action (somebody stepping on the gas while you show us the moving and non moving parts) would really help us help YOU.

Happened to me once. What had happened was the cent. clutch's inner part had stripped it's key for the shaft.
