Help identifying what I got

Hey guys I’m new to go karts. I recently bought this. I was curious if anyone knows what chassis this is? Seems that the seat was more to the right than the left. Haven’t seen many go karts with the engines on the left side, but like I said I’m new. There are no markings on the chassis and it looks like some parts have been cut.
I can also get more detailed pics if needed.

I cant tell what part of the world your located at, but Racekarts with left-side engines are way more common in Europe than here in the USA.

But unless your photo image has been reversed, the angle of your steering column is indicating your kart is currently set up to achieve additional seat room for installing the engine on the right side. (and I mean right side from the prospective of a driver driver sitting in the seat)

Your pic isn't very clear, but it apears to have a motor mount that attaches to the rear axle mounts at one end, and then your axle has a brake rotor at the other end, is that correct?

If so, I think you might simply have the axle turned around backwards in this pic.
Or I suppose it's also possible that parts got mixed up and that axle doesn't even belong with that chassis...

Yep, posting some clear detailed pics would prolly help (y)

Great info, I will take some better pictures tomorrow. I’m thinking the same thing (that some parts don’t belong to the chassis) one reason being, the rear tires seems to sit wider than the front.I know that rear tires are typically “fatter” than the front. But, the tires don’t line up with the fronts, is this normal? I’m really just trying to see how many parts I can use on our build and what I need to get new parts of. I figured the frame would be a good starting point for me since I’m not a welder, although it’s not out of the picture.

Will be posting some pics tomorrow.

mom located in the USA btw.

Looks like if that left rear tire were actually mounted on that hub with the axle bearings mounted also, then the rear end would be uniformly split, not lopsided to one side or the other. Front end looks like the spindles are missing, left front wheel pushed up onto the spindle mount, right front sitting accordingly off to the right of the missing spindle.
Looks like you have a common centered frame with no offset anywhere. Not offset for flat track racing, not in USA or in Europe. Just center balanced like mine and almost all karts that aren't flat trackers. Look at your front fairing, it's unilateral for common balanced steering.
That round thing with 3 tubes attached, is that a fuel pump?

The front spindles are present. This is what the seller posted as a picture before I bought it. It’s missing a lot of bolts and whatnot. So the front just doesn’t have the kingpins in them.

As far as for that thing with the 3 hoses that were cut there, I searched the branding on it and all I could find was something to do with carburetors.

Also when I bought this Kart the guy didn’t know much about it. Seems like he had a plan for it but never went along with it.

Yeah, I'd say that carburetor sounds like something that could involve fuel, and a 3-fitting fuel pump would certainly involve getting fuel to a carburetor. 1: Negative pressure pump fuel inlet, 2: Positive pressure pump fuel outlet, 3: Pulse signal from a fitting into the crankcase to oscillate the pump diaphragm with each stroke of the piston.
Doesn't really mean anything if you have an engine that's gravity-fed from the fuel tank, or an engine hot-rodded to the point that more fuel is required than gravity can keep up with.

I agree, I’m sure that whatever was tan on this before was certainly not that Briggs that I purchased this Kart with. Anyhow I was thinking of going the cheap route with a predator 212 for now since it’s going to be mostly a hobby beater kart .

You can definitely hobby-beat on a Predator, they can take abuse as long as they have enough oil. Just don't modify it right out of the box, use it as is until it's broken in at varying rpms. If it's going to fail and need a warranty exchange, it'll happen in that time. Can't exchange them once the warranty is voided by modifications.
