My name is Brian Thrasher (28) from Birmingham, AL. I stumbled across this site the other day and the more I look at it, the more I realize that everything you need to know is probably already here... somewhere anyhow. But yeah, I plan on sticking around for a while. I've just decided to start playing around with small engines (Briggs/Stratton) and it seems to get easier and easier. I bought an old "Ken-Bar Model D 650" with a 5hp flathead on it that was taken all apart, but I got it for $60. so I think I got a great deal. I got the motor back together and it's running now... I just need some advise on making it better. I figured you guys seem to know just about anything about this stuff, so here I am.
