I'm guessing a cricut machine, what type of file they use? I will send you the file for my wife's old logo she had me make when she raced...girls get kick out of it...and guys sometimes cringe :cornut:

Eta...its very family safe ;)
I can use any type of file. I have all the programs to convert it. I also have an all in one cnc, laser engraver, 3d printer that's daddy's toy. so I started them with the cricut to learn how plotting works before they start messing with my stuff.
I'd be happy to see the logo
it may make a com back on my kids buggy. haha.

OK. I will need a little guidance if you fellas would be so kind. my plan is to cut the center bar and what was once a circuit bracket out of the top center of the swing arm. so the 459 has the clearance up top.
then make a Frame for the base plate and mount it on that. high enough to give the motor clearance from the sprocket and brake disc.
I will try and highlight the parts on the pics I took. if anyone has a better or more efficient way please let me know. I don't want to cut this swing arm up and end up trashing it. hahaha. which is highly likely anyway.

If you are just trying to make clearance for your 60t axle I'd just cut the axle mounts and re weld then closer to the center of the swing arm

if I take those center bars out on top that are highlighted in yellow I can set the motor in.
there is a bar on the bottom I'm going to have to relocate that interferes with the sprocket.

got the back bar tacked on and one leg of the base set and level. just need to cut that one to length and tack it on. then the other one and a plate.
I put the axel with the tires in place so I could see how the swing arm would sit so I could make sure things were level

i have all the bracket pieces cut, and fitted, level and square. I did some practice welds with the left over scrap material. I'm a little surprised it went well. I will weld it to the buggy either tonight or tomorrow.
I would have had it all welded up but if you remember that rusty battery box that I didn't bother to clean up since I had to move it, well it took most of my time up today getting it off. someone welded the snot out of that thing. the full length on both sides. seems excessive. I used 2 entire cutting wheels on my angle grinder to get it close to off. then I finished it off with a hammer. the. had to use the grinding wheel on my angle grinder to clean it all up. I'm embarrassed at the amount that little piece kicked my ***.
I was always wanting to do a forge and try out forging knives and such... but not any more. haha.
pics will come soon

should I start a new thread in the builds forum or just continue updating here?

progress is slowed a little. I am going to be out of town for a week. if I could get a few hours of uninterrupted work time I could probably have most of it complete now that I'm done getting some rust off and rattle can painting it.
my current to do list is
- finish welding up the engine mount frame and plate.
- mount the motor.
- put the sprocket and brake disc on the axel to line up with the motor.
- fix the seat frame and put a seat together. still deciding if I want to buy a generic seat and frame or use what I got and make something.
- install the master cylinder and caliper for the brakes.
- clean up the front rims and put the new tires on (got the harbor freight small tire changer on sale). put them on.

ok... maybe a little more than a few hours of uninterrupted time... but with my ADD I think I can have it done in 30 min. hahaha

well I attempted to put the motor in the swing arm. it will fit tol to bottom but it's too wide with the TC on it. ha. I will try taking off the TC to get it in place and see if I can put the TC back on once in place or I have to cut the swing arm bars and put in supports in a lower position.

I did get the old tires off and started putting the new ones on. but daddy duty called and I had to stop messing with the tires. I will complete that when I return home in a week.

got the tires on aired up and mounted so I can get it off the jack. pulled the tc off to see what kind of fit I have. I feel like I need to raise up my mount and also lower the swing arm bars. that way the motor isn't sitting at head directly behind my head. lol.
Any suggestions? it clearly is not going to work between the current swing arm bars.

made it back from vacation. I need a vacation from the vacation. 16 hours each way with 3 girls in the car. 1 week isn't enough.
about to make some cuts on the swing arm and mount the motor. then I will add the supports back in so it all fits.

made the cuts. motor fits. I'm going to tack everything in place. then set up my axel and lock it all down. I may not need to add more support bars to the swing arm. since the parts I am welding in to mount the motor plate will do what the supports I cut out did.

Looking at photo # 4, the one from the center of the kart looking to the rear, the two pieces of angle iron look way undersized. Hard for me to tell, but it looks like they span about 16" to 20" without any other support. If that is the case, you have a 80 lb. engine sitting there that will flex more than enough to give you problems once the kart starts bouncing around. If that is all there is you need angle half again as big and double the thickness.
