Sorry to the guys that see these pictures huge. I cannot seem to resize them from my phone. Progress pics. Was away for work for a while so everything stopped

It's light and simple. Sitting on its own wheels I'm surprised at how ridged it is. 40" wheel base. Bought the spindles but built the bolts and "c"'s

I put 5deg of caster and about 4deg of camber into each side, sound close?

Yes that caster and camber will help.
It may be the pics but your "C"s Dont look as thick as the Store bought ones.
Also do you know or did you include Ackerman?

Look's like 3/16" steel to me, should be fine. Maybe 1/8, which would be borderline, IMO

They are 1/8" if they bend I'll make heavier ones. There's almost no weight on this cart and it is for kids, I can't even fit in it. I can Tig a couple gussets in after if I see distortion. Have guys had failure there with 1/8"?

I haven't worked on the Ackerman yet but I am aware of it yes. Had to go back to my real job today so it's on hold again ;)

1/8 being borderline is just an educated guess on my part from my day job as an Engineer.

It's a large radius bend, small part, it should be ok, even thouugh it will see substantial force. You figure 350lbs with rider, at 30 mph, add's up.

I wouldn't worry though, if anything, like you said, add some gussets.

I only asked cause I was gonna make some out of 1/8. But was advised to use 1/4.
There is a ton of force put on that part if you think about it.
But I like your attitude. If it bends F it make more!
