In post #17 you mention how much fun you have building the stuff for your Grandsons ( glad you didn't refer to them as grandbrats ) I'm sure that's tongue
in cheek. I can really relate to that. I don't weld but fabricate a lot and have a good welding shop 5 minutes from my house. I get the most enjoyment building the small engines. Even though that means I am spending money on
cams and rods and stainless steel valves and the likes, I am in a position where
if I don't go crazy, and stretch the purchases out a little I can afford it. Been a
hotrodder and car guy all my life. But the karts both size and budget for my retirement just fine. And when one of the Grandkids puts there foot in it and the
thing rips real good, I think the smile on my face is at least as big as the smile
on theirs. Very satisfying hobby for me.
