GX200 idle adjustment screw

I need to richen the idle a little. There's a limiter on this screw, now is this just a cap that can be removed or will I have to do a little grinding with my dremel?

The little EPA plastic cap? cut the tab off if necessary but first pull it off to see if the spline shaft underneath is slotted for a screwdriver.

You can turn it clockwise with pliers. Replacement carbs from gxparts n' such don't have a cap.

My clone carburater wasnt even made in china and it doesnt have any plastic caps and its very easy to tune.

Mine is a Honda carb. The cap is made of aluminum and I used my dremel to grind the stops off. I set the screw a 2 turns out but the engine still pops on decel. The carb has a #90 main jet and a 140 emulsion tube. I'll keep playing with it.
