GX200 electrixlc start wont work

the battery is working, the solenoid is getting juice but nothing happens. not even a click when i turn the key. the circuit protecter is pressed in and none of the fuses seem to be burned out. the red wire is on the solenoid where it needs to be and the ground is, well, grounded. oil sensor has been removed as well as the charging system. WHAT IS WRONG!? its driving me nuts

how old is battery ? Did you test it ? Charge it ? Load test it ?

its a couple of months old. always kept it on a battery tender

Like an actual battery tender or a $2 harbor freight one? Those will boil a battery dry in a month, especially a small one.

alright so i made a bridge here and the starter turned on. if i turn the swtich it doesnt do anything

Probably a bad switch. If jumping the starter on the solenoid with that screwdriver got it to start, probably a bad switch.

thats what i figured. it was working fine up until now. i removed the pil sensor and the charging coil. would that have messed with it? i have these two cables just chilling here

Just remember that you need 12V usually going to a red thinner wire to the solenoid to engage it.
