Hi guys, new to the forum here, last night I picked up an interesting used go kart to mess around with. I'll put more details and pics of that in a build thread shortly.

Probably like a lot of you here, I always enjoy having something to tinker with - most of the time to the point of starting the next project before I've finished any of the others, I'm so glad my wife puts up with me! I've been kicking around the idea of getting a go kart for a while, and at the same time learning some welding skills, I've rebuilt engines, am good at fixing most things but have never learned how to weld. Go karts and welding, sounds like a good time to me!

I'm looking forward to bouncing ideas off of everyone,
Cheers!

Can't wait to see what you've got!
I have the same problem, I've got ~4 projects going all at once, progressing very slowly due to lack of funds. :roflol:

Thank you, and yep that sounds familiar! I remember as a kid one of my neighborhood friends had a go kart for a little while and what fun it was ripping around on it, so part of this is probably me remembering back to the good old days and recapturing a bit of my younger days haha :auto:

Everyone who comes to this forums usually comes for the same reason or they have a simple problem they can't fix or a hard one. Sad to say life gets in the way sometimes when it comes to go karts. I have four main projects currently and waiting on weather to get better
