not so much
at least a quad slides when u turn sharp
these just flip u over the front wheel
but i guess where these were being used use out on the stations
so always flatout over deep sand and rough terrain so not the best situation for 3 wheels
Yah I hear you Blue. ATC250r was a bad arse machine for it's day. Three wheelers are so much lighter and faster than the first generation quads. Basicaly the same motor but with less weight and less wheels to slow you down. A built 250r trike should walk all over an built TRX250r fourtrax in a drag race.
Some of the fastest 250's I see at the dunes are 250r trikes.
And just think that Honda had a ATC500r proto type ready to release. Anybody would kill themselves on that.
Can you see now how much less the ATC's weigh?
That 500r trike above has got to be one scarry ride. I seen a few of those run in person myself back in the day at Sand Lake Oregon.
It sounds and looks like it runs very good. Now you know why I keep buying the darn things. $100 deals you cannot pass up. And they will use your Baha for traction. LOL
Have you tried driving over logs and thru the brush yet? Amazing how well these things go. My father has an ATC250es Bigred. Will go anywhere pretty much.
Does your bike have the low-hi range on the tranny? Like I said before treat that bike with basic maintenance and you will be riding it for years. It's nice to have a bike thats always running. In my case thats the ATC's. They all run all day long and give me very little problems.
What size is your front tire? I will check my pile and see if I can donate you one.
Are your parents convinced it's too dangerous now, or do you just not want to run in with the cops again? Sucks either way... I vote you figure out how to get your butt and the trike up to Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont!!!!
