You can also file some of the shifter down on the split ends so it clamps on the spline harder.

well im almost out of gas, i already have drained the leaf blower, lawn mower, mini bike, everything else dry.

only filled a 2 gallon container for $10!!!! now that is burned up and i need to go again

if i had to chose the baja or the trike, i would chose the trike because 5 gears, reverse, high rev's, and more power is better than a tecumseh that is now running like crap (carb issues) and torque converter. this trike is rare, they only made them one year

if you think about durability the trike was made in 1985 and the baja was made in 2006 and guess which one has more issues..... the baja

You think thats bad? It takes me a little over $50 to fill up the tank on my sled. Only to get 8 miles per gallon anyway. Woohoo.

And just yesterday I spent around $100 just for gas after that nice snow-storm. Pretty much rode ALL day long

14 gallons. Wish this thing got better gas milage. But thats the downfall of getting a performance sled over a trail sled. With the weights and spring I have in my primary and my mild regear. I can keep up with brand new 800cc sleds. (Mine is a 500). Mostly because the machine is SO **** light.

You can always make a fat cat out of that trike if you get tired of three wheels. Keep it a trike though IMO. If you treat it well it should run for ever. This is a bike you can give to your kids 20 years from now.

When it snows at my place the whole hood has quads out riding the streets. The snow is my most fun time on my trikes.

its shaft drive with a rear axle like a car. im gonna keep it as a trike.

yeah i would love to go down the street but ever since my friend got stopped by a cop on "our" pocket bike my parents have never let me ride on the street again. and the time i decided to when i was home alone i was going around a corner when my dad was coming home the other direction, LOL big trouble. and now i cant ride it anymore because my parents dont want it riding on the property so where do i go with it???

they aint gonna change their minds. i can once in a blue moon walk it down to a small field down the road. town property, still illegal but as long as i have parents permission im happy lol. and not in trouble again.

cant wait till i get a truck, i can go to better places with buddies and take their stuff too

My dad even to the wheels off and took them to work with them. Then I took them out of the truck and put them back on. I got busted before I could sneak them back into the truck. I been busted 15 miles away from home on my mini bike. LOL the next town over....

ive gotten stopped like 3 times, 2 of the officers didnt care!

probably the craziest adventure is about 2-3 years ago when i had the electric dirt bike with a scooter engine rigged in, i was aloud to go around my neighborhood only. but i took it down the main road one day and went 2 miles one direction through a few neighborhoods, then another 2 in the other direction to my elementary school, rode it on the playground LOL then ditched into the woods through a lot of bike trails. then my chain fell off because my angle iron engine mounts were twisted. i had a buddies house close by so i went and asked him for vice grips to bend back the mounts to get home. i did it, all with the engine still running because it was electric start only and my battery was like 3 miles away at home. so i left as quickly as i could because i was running out of gas and i went back the same way i came. down a straight away i saw an undercover cop car going the other way and i let the engine idle and pretended to pedal like it was one of those pedal dirt bikes. he gave me a funny face and kept going haha but my heart was throbbing like i was gonna get caught. after that i cut through a new neighborhood, visited another friend, then came all the way back and i was on my street when the engine ran out of gas. i pushed it back like 10 feet lol.
