jeez....i just got it home and it wont even run, im suspecting points or timing, it'l just run for a couple of seconds then stop:mad2:
and on further inspection theres some rust bullbing through, do 'they' just grind it out then fill it with that bog stuff and repaint it?

i was looking up rust repair on the internet, they say to grind it out, sand, fill with bog or whatever its called, prime and paint. what if there quite big holes.

things on the to buy list :
new engine
paint and rust stuff

You need to make patch panels out of sheetmetal for rust holes, bondo isn't designed to plug holes and will fall out eventually.

if there are big holes you want to grind the rust off and clean it up then take a thin peice of sheet steel and weld it on clean it all up with the grinder and sand it smooth and then putty and paint!

sounds like fun, what tipe of welder will i need , mig??and what tipe of sheet metal

also the engine still wont wun and has 50psi of compression, wich aint to good. might take a trip to the wrecker and price another engine

ok, on closer insection of this thing theres lots more rust and a rooted enigne . so mummy and daddy are making me sell it, and i'll put the moneys into something similar, mabye a shortwheelbase landcruiser or suzuki:oops:
