I mean, it was a pain to keep reporting spam, especially since there is a 60 second timer between being able to report each piece of spam.

Well it (reporting) seemed like the right thing to do at the time, as if the moderators weren’t aware of it (but they were). The spam was just so much and all at once, burying the legitimate postings under waves of garbage. I think I saw one spammer having like 80 posts in 10 minutes - 10 minutes after they joined the forum. :mad2:

Can confirm. He, I and BBQ Joe were an informal team, I being the newcomer. I wouldn’t say Chancer hates us, but I think he just got his fill of DIYGK and drove on. Burned-out, you might say. But egad if you aren’t right about winning the build off and leaving the forum.

I don’t even remember a trophy. It was a physical trophy? 🤯 Of course they say women have the best memory which is why they bring up every thing you have ever done wrong in an argument, even the things they forgave you for… so if you have a good memory you might just be a female.
It was a real trophy. I can't remember who made it though

Sometimes I wonder why I am the way I am.. You could have told me your name 10 minutes ago and that’s fine but what’s your name again? Meanwhile I tear stuff like this apart and could put it back together without the diagram if I had to. I have my 32 digit console ID remembered by heart for linux.. 000000010084000B10384f05c9cd1693 I have this number remembered by heart.

My credit card NEVER leaves my wallet i Have my credit card the ccv and exp date memorized by heart… The looks I get when I start rattling off a card number at the vet or something… The women wanted a physical card for me to prove I wasn’t giving her BS card details.. She could not accept I remembered my own card details by heart…IMG_3798.jpegIMG_2795.png

That's one thing I hated about working in Express Lane when I first started back in 2017. There's a big window from the customer waiting area that looks into Express. No idea which idiot thought that was a good design choice.

It's why I kind of like my job working in used cars. We are now in the old body shop, and rarely do customers walk through. They only do when frickin sales brings them through to look at a vehicle that is on the lift in various states of disrepair.
