that fan is going to eat you....

i think i would have extended the frame and cut bigger wheel wells in it, then maybe put a slightly larger tire on it to make it look right in the well

I have already extended the axle back 3 inches, any further and i wont have a safe place for a gas tank.

Kenny, RHD? Right hand drive? Not gonna happen, the fan should be fine, my *** will only cover half at most, and i may make a guard over it so it has some airspace to suck from.

Just about finished the motor mounts, just gotta make a few braces and welds.

Haha, it sure does. This guy near me who owns an "antique" (junk) shop, had a huge bucket of rusty 1/2 drill bits, and all of them were new minus the rust. He was throwing them away so i grabbed 10 or so. They are cheap and dull fairly easy, but they were free.

ha ha you picked a car with poor aftermarket so good luck finding a lift kit. and as you said with the gearing being so low your not gonna go to fast. i know a guy doin this with a 89 ezgo and it looks like gonna be a cool ride. he asked us to upgrade the the diff with some high speed gears. ohh and this is our70's harley davidson.

Crazycart, that sounds like it would be insane. Those lil 340s can go pretty well, it would be great to find some aftermarket diff parts to get a little more speed. I dont think there are any for these though.

I havent done mouch. I've been letting it sit, because i really dont like the engine mounting. Its sticking too far through the fiberglass. Im thinking about re-doing the swingarm with a solid axle. Then i can mount the engine silod under the seat and not have to worry. But if i go thatfar i might as well find a liquid cooled quad engine w/ reverse... I just dont know.

Dsm, even if they sold lift kits, i promise i wouldnt buy one. Im really cheap, and i hate buying kits.
