Thanks! It's a fun toy. Been kinda pricy upgrading the motor. But totally worth it when your riding. I did gain probably another 1000 rpm or so when I took the governor off but the big notice was it was way more aggressive! The Titan tx200 has been a really good motor with endless upgrades.

It was my first post. I didn't know if I should have spelled it out or just enough to get the attention of someone who knew about that field! Forgive ignorance! It's shouldn't..... We are adults here, for the most part. Let's be civilized. Hoffman doesn't know us. He assumed this thread started off wrong, by MLTOYS post. It wasn't a cheap shot or dig at him. Once he realizes Mike is cool, I think this will be resolved.
BUT, until then, let's keep this clean.... I'm trying to help this dude out.... Anybody care to actually HELP with THAT.... ? I thought the rash of trashy/locked posts was over. I plan on keeping it that way. MLTOYS, I bet if you convey to hoffman, that you were not trying to be an @$$, he'd apologize. But after the pm you got, if you don't care to, I wouldn't blame you. It's Hoffman loss, as you are very helpful in the form of info, if nothing else. And info is what he is looking for.......
Hoffman, the ball is in your court, really..... You took the post as offensive, or just wrong,altogether... And then you insulted him. That wasn't cool. Not by any means. I'm guilty of those type posts, and I've changed my ways. I opened my eyes to what/who/and how others see things.
If this was a subject you were very passionate about, you'd react the same too, I'm sure.
Let's say you are an ace at pottery, for an example.....
I get on a forum, and say,..... Slurry problems..... To you, it might seem simple..... Cause you know all about this stuff. You know that if it's too wet, add some clay. If its too dry,add water.... BUT I never said what my problem was, so how would you know what to say/answer? You wouldn't.
This square peg,won't fit in the hole.... What do I do? Uhhh, is the hole square?

He's not here to argue. He felt "violated" , for a better lack of words.... This is on the downward slope of things. Pretty sure the air has been cleared, but I'd still like to see an apology. A pm would be fine, but I really think it's owed. THAT original pm was REALLY what started all this.
When I read something I don't agree with, I ignore it. If its a dig at me, ok, I'll bite, and fight..... BUT it wasn't a dig.... It should have just been ignored, and skip straight to my post. There was no need for the pm. That could have been said here. Would have been shut down, but still, no pm was needed. The pm is the root cause of this stink, not the post..... If I reacted that way to all the negative posts, or what have ya, I'd be on Perma ban......
Ok, let's drop it. Send an apology, EVEN if you DONT mean it.... It's the right thing to do, and it's how we keep this place civilized. Looking back thru all of this, you said you put the e clip in the lowest position. SO I will ask, can you ease into the throttle and have the kart rev up under load? You said if you mash the throttle at low speeds it bogs. The term "bog" can be misleading to some people. It could mean lean or rich. Have you tried the choke or enrichment lever? I kinda think you went the wrong direction on the e clip on the needle but...again, I don't think you needed that carb on there to begin with. The stock carb is not even 5/8" bore and you put on a 22mm (almost 7/8") bore carb without a cam change or head work.

Yes you can ease into it and once it hits half throttle or better you can dump the pedal with no problems. I ordered the carburetor bbecause I knew it would just be 1 of many upgrades. It just came first because of costs I had to kind of spread the upgrades apart. It was just one of first things I ordered and so far the carburetor is the only thing with issues. I've played with all the adjustment back and forth but I can't get it right. Would I need a fuel pump as well?

The choke is just on or off there is no setting in between and when I choke it stalls

Did you change any of the jets in it? I'd have to look but I suppose you could search for yourself but there are threads on OMB suggesting the right jets you need. I doubt the ones that came with it will work.
