i grabed the ones off me minibike axel that held the axel on the bike today l0l

would a honda gx series 160cc engine (said it was 8hp it didnt have the sticker on it but i think its 5.5) thats been bored out (idk how much) with a racing clutch guy didint tell me no gov for 150 be good deal?

hmm, that doesnt sound bad for a honda, but you can get a harbor fright engine that is 6 horse and very dependable for about the same

Its "shifter style" not an actual shifter kart. Lots of people see race chassis and think shifter.

Lol, but a shifter is just a normal race kart with a shifter motor on it. Without the shifter motor its just a race kart.

Not really, there is a little more to it than that. Shifter karts are generally made of slightly bigger diameter tubing, constructed a little stiffer, generally have a 50 mm rear axle, and if it's a 125 cc kart, it has to have 4 wheel braking (Racing Association Rules). 80 and 100 cc shifter karts are pretty close to a standard race kart though,

Ive always seen the people with shifter karts on the hourglass shaped chasis i think they look beter then your normal rectangle or T shaped chasis so I refer to the racing chasis and you guys/gals do as a shifter kart style engine to the side and what not

l0l im moving out from the city to like the boonie/farm area kids drive up n down the road on thier dirtbikes and atvs all day and im gona be stuck with a gokart.... did i mension i have 6 neighbors who are cops and i dont care that they are!!! + alot of road that u never see any cars on back thier

just spent the last hour n half cleaning them with a dremal and some cleaning bits Holy **** they where dirty and greassy as ****
need to grab some dot4 fluid tommorow cuz they didint have any in it lets hope they work or im gona return them to the junk yard if thats possible....

why didnt you let em soak in brake cleaner and take a wire brush to it? it works good brake cleaner works on anything greasy.

Just don't MIG or TIG weld anything after it's had brake cleaner put on it. It can create phosgene gas (chemical weapon used in WWI) which will kill you.
