sorry havnt been posting pics having a guy from work who is the welder for the shop weld my collar onto the rotor (hes really busy) so next is the seat to be made then i can do the steering cuz idk where im gona sit :S

had snow for like 1 day then it turned to rain as always on the east coast hopefuly we will get another 3week random thing of -11 temps and lots of snow like last year

but i guess ima have to use my 6.5 untill i can find a bike engine

preferably, a lower powered engine is good for starting out, then once you get a shakedown run and experience go for a 125,

those welds are f'ing perfect and if you can lay those down your the man. But the welds on the kart.......ummm i donno if i could do those on purpose.... go slow and along the crack of the parent metals. It almost looks like your going up and down them instead of across them.

and btw i ground down all the welds found a beter setting and i redid most of them till i ran out of wire..

My 1982 XL125S puts out 13-14 HP at 9500 rpm. It will lift the front tire on the Xl in 1st just blipping it and just raise it about 4" going into 2nd gear. It screams along pretty good.

And a modern 125 2 stroke will make at least 30hp stock.

Ok didint head where my gokart is but the brakes done heres some pics

These pics are from today I took a drive up to my works, Shop
I work for a small machinery speciality contractor and they have a very large shop thier with any tools you can imagine
so one of the guys i work with who is the foremen of the jobs i do
helped me out
he took a stock of carbite steel and he made the outside diamater the same size of the hole for me and then drilled a hole in the middle and then cut that so the bushing would fit then he tig welded it all up for me

so i will definitly go back thier if i need any major parts done

First 2 pics my sexy seat that i bought for 2 bucks (it was originaly a chair but i cut the legs off and did 2 layers of fibreglass on it

and i just put the rotor on and i had the wheels on backwards...
