Is there anyway to add a out board crank/support . To this adapter set up.
Certainly,I would make the one inch shaft longer to accept a outside bearing then one would have to come up with a support bracket to attach to the engine.

I'm planning on either welding the clutch to the other half of the primary clutch or welding a end of a crank shaft to it

With all due respect I would not do that if I were in your shoes you are taking a chance of a dangerous failure.That inner sheave that is still on your crankshaft has to be retained to the crankshaft by a bolt that threads into the end of the crankshaft.Welding anything to that sheave shaft would be not safe due to the fact the welds could fracture and then things could come apart and maybe make contact with you and cause you harm if not be fatal.The taper that the crankshaft and sheave have is not enough alone to retain the sheave plus then you would have more overhang that the set up I use and that would be too much.The absolute safest method to do to your engine would be to tear the engine down and have the crank turned down and have no adapter at all.

I just think I'll go back to the torque converter set up,and save myself some work

Ya we all heard these thing before. Like I said I the other thread, ya I'm a skeptic, if you keep asking, then contradicting what the response is. Then get on with it and build your thing. Just remember do it alone without any bystanders close by.

I don't se any building yet, how abouts start prepping the frame for the reinforcement you are going to need to do, while your thinking about the clutching for the motor.

Dude, edit your previous post if you want to add more to your previous thought.

You can start grinding paint and prepping the steel for welding while you wait. That's what I'm getting at.

I'm ordering the engine soon, it's not the 399cc rotax anymore more because I found a 440cc rotax for 50 bucks and 8 dollar shipping which I'm going to buy, here's some pics,i even got the seller to trow in and custom exhaust his son made for free
