I have a go kart that I put a Predator 212cc engine on with a torque converter (Comet). Not sure how old the torque converter is, probably pretty old. The go kart is shaking at low speeds, but once you get going a little faster the shaking goes away.
Would this be related to the torque converter? Belt? Chain? New to go karts, so not real sure where to start. Thanks!

The torque converter is probably a bit out of alignment. Post lots of pics!
Otherwise, replace ALL old and worn out parts.

Could be tires. Have a similar thing that goes on on my dingo. The tires have slight flatspots and it shakes pretty good until like 30mph or so.

Thanks!
Did some research last night and discovered the belt on the torque converter is far from the correct one. Looks like the previous owner put a belt from something else on it (rather than being flat with the ridges, it is cone shaped). Will pick up a new one and while I'm waiting for it check alignment and snap some pics.
