The only reason you would want a higher octane is if you are running a higher compression, otherwise its useless.

On the klotz nitro power addictive it says you have to jet the carb up 4 sizes. so what if I have a different carb on it that is 4 jet sizes up from the stock. So do I still have to jet the carb up 4 sizes.

Four-stroke engine use 4 oz. per gallon. Two-stroke engine use 2 oz. or 4 oz. maximum per gallon. Richen low and high speed jets approximately 4-6 numbers as needed. Retarded timing may be required with applications over 4 oz. per gallon. Carefully experiment by trial and error to find the best combination. Try not to allow Nitro mix from remaining stored in a fuel can or tank for long periods of time.

i heard you get valve grounding compond the put it on a flat smooth table then spin it around is that the right way.

You can shave the head DIY style with emery paper bonded to either a flat glass or marble surface. Using figure of 8 patterns you can shave the head a bit.
That turbo looks like it would be really restrictive. I am no expert, but don't turbo's use exhaust gas pressure to spin some precision fans compressing the air into the intake before it enters the engine?
Where does the exhaust go in?

That's not actually a turbo it just make a sound like one. A bit like the old card in the bicycle spokes trick

yeah lol. a real turbo uses exhaust gases to spin the turbine forcing more air in.

I need help, when I start my go kart it revs up high the it then it returns to low idle then cuts off , can some one tell me what's wrong

noting yeah i might not do anything because it is already so fast top about 35 mph. just that i added a new head gasket because my last one blown, now when i start it, it revs high then returns to low idle then struggles to stay on then cuts off but when i keep the trottle at high it runs fine but when i let go it cuts off again, i don't know whats wrong can someone tell me what is wrong.

Sounds fuel related, maybe a clogged jet?

ithe first thing i did was clean the carb , could it be that it does not have the right octane fuel in it because the head is shaved down and i have 89 fuel in it maybe it needs 93 the reason probly it ran on 89 becuase it did not have a good conpression now that it has a new head gasket it has more compression, maybe also i did not change the fuel afther siting down for 3 months.
