It looks as if they got like pvc pipe over the wheels or some other thin plastic. Its like on rc cars, u put pvc or abs pipe on the rims and it will drift as it has like 0 traction. This would be wicked! It doesnt require much power either so i might be able to do it with my 2.5hp. When the kart is build i might try make some, it looks awesome and so much fun to do!

Its like putting Mcdonalds trays under the rear tires on your car and putting the E-Brake on! I have to make another cart...

i hear duct tape works

Duct tape would work but would rip apart after 2 mins or so. Also u would have to do like 5 layers on each tire so thats like a whole role of duct tape on 4 tyres. Better to get big pvc pipe thats a bit smaller than the wheel, deflat ur tires, slip it on then pump up ur tires so it really grips the pvc. That should work well.

That looks veeeeery fun! I do agree that the only way to drink and drift, or just drift for that matter is to have enough power to break em loose. And i can do it, but I have significantly reduced my tires lives by doing so. and the bridgestone slicks arent cheap! but hey! thats why i have a go kart so I dont do it in my car!!!!

But it does look like a LOT of fun! and with the PVC, it will save your tires!
