Thanks, Wall gator, Blazkowiez, and everyone else. I finally got my parts in and installed yesterday. The go-kart is running great. It pulls stronger and smoother than it ever did before.
I am running a series 20 for sure with the spring away from the engine, and the correct belt now. It currently has the blue spring in the driven unit. I'm under the assumption that this blue spring is for the set-up where the driven unit spring faces the engine. The question is, since it is running fine, do I replace the blue spring? or do I leave it alone since it running good I ordered two replacement springs since I didn't know which one to install, if any:
