Unplug the oil sensor and just wire the gold box inline to ground with a pushbutton switch...

Why switch it? Why not just disable it?

Because a kill switch is a handy accessory. Disabling is like throwing free money in the trash.

Then you can manually actuate the "sensor" with the push button, when you need it....
No need to splice or mess with the on/off switch... The motor can be immediately restarted with out forgetting to turn it back to the on position...

Also you dont need to open the sideplate and potentially mess up the gasket..
