Hi guys, I am sure it has been asked before but I cant find anything with the same factors. I am busy building a buggy for 8 year old son, with 7 hp engine, centrifigal clutch and 18 inch wheels and dryweight will be about 260pounds. What will be a good ratio for a tight course with some drifting etc but also longer stretches (live on a farm) I was thinking about 10-11? I will install a jackshaft. In South Africa torque convertors is expensive so I wont go that route. I am not finished with the frame as can be seen on photos.
