Jason, What are you doing for the front end? I have an Odyssey front end. From steering wheel with controls to wheels. J-arms, hubs, spindles, steering column, steering shaft, steering wheel with brake and throttle controls, Extra long cables, Shocks, Skid plate, tierods the whole 10 yards. I even have the main bar on an old frame I can cut out and send with it.
Basicaly everything you see here in this pic but with a steering wheel. You could weld that huge man front bar into your frame and have front suspension. The Ody does not have much travel but it is a rocksolid set up. You can mod them easy as pie for wider stance and lots more travel
$50 plus shipping for everything. Shipping will be about $40 though. These are heavy duty parts. Look how many birds you kill with one stone???? Been begging a member to use an Ody set up in a build. $50 is a steal for what you are getting. I can even play around with flate rate boxes and drop shipping cost way down. I can pack the heavy stuff into a $14 flate rate box to cut down on the lbs. Then ship the bigger stuff in normal box.
I can cut the front of the frame off close to that main front bar. Then you will have to cut the tube out of the frame. The weld that tube/bar into your frame and your done. If you want to widen the j-arms I can send you a vid of how they did mine. You will have to widen the tierods but that is easy as well. Upper shock mount too. Or you can find a right size bar and make it as wide as you want without moding the j-amrs. (last pics shows this setup)
How much were you going to spend to get get all what these parts do? If you ever break or bend anything parts are cheap on ebay.
You were talking about how large it is? Notice how the ody sets the wheels back into the buggy? This may help?
If this does not work for you sorry for jacking your thread. I will edit it if you want me to. Just trying to help out.
