Good question. Planning for ackermann, the 32 degrees you have in one direction would seem to limit the outside tire to a little under 30? Not horrible, especially for a short wheel base, but I would think less than ideal?

Probably not that much. No way l'm getting 80 deg.
l'll be happy if l can squeak another 5 deg outta it. Considering how it gets used, l think it'll be ok.
l was workin with the spinna machine today so l made another spindle. Just in case this actually works.

I went down to the skunkworks dungeon err ahhh l mean division to check on the suspension work. Thats where l found the slaves gathered around the Oujia board working some suspension geometry stuff.
They produced this lower front wheel attachment thingy. Next step is to mock it up to the front of the chassis and see if it might actually work.

Why is the bar bent?
Is this for longer suspension parts? Or clearance? Or something else? My A Arm understanding limited to knowing there are things called A Arms.

It's what I had, it fit, so WTF?
Two reasons:
1: the shock mount will be right there at the bend. It just lowers the shock mount a coupla inches. The coilovers are 36 inches long! they need all the help available.
2: Triangles are yer friend. triangulation increases strength. Triangles look cool.
actually it was in the scrap pile and it fit......
I'm not sure that it is stout enough without it.

No, l don't even think 'bout pics or any form of documentation 'til l'm half done. In the old days (before Al Gore invented the internet) we never bothered. The slaves can't be trusted to do it, they would just steal the phone. Maybe it'll get bedder, maybe it wont.

On buggies we raced they had 45*+, hit brakes turn at 5mph, dig and go. Tight corner, that and turning brakes turned on a dime and gave change.

You going to be a couple inches wider in the front so rear tires follow front?

Not exactly sure where this gonna end up. There is some "flexibility" in da plan.
Rear width is 64. I go much beyond that and l create A LOT more work.
l mocked up the lower A arm in order to see how/if this is gonna work.
l like what im seein so far.

To my my surprise I found them working...

I DOESN'T SEE HOW THE ONE ON THE RIGHT WOULD TURN THE WHEELS AT ALL. IT LOOKS LIKE THE BEARING IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AXLE.
The one on the left might work as the bearing is slightly forward of the axle so there is some leverage there to turn the wheels. That's my $.02
