How much angle are they rated for? Can you get much extra ground clearance compaired to a straight live axel? That seems like a good deal I'll have to look at it.

Well, i honestly don't know the max angle, probably not a great deal, they are for an S10 lol. But they last 150k plus in those trucks, so they should last forever in a buggy/kart.

You would gain a few inches of clearance, looking at my current swingarm kart, I'd say probably 6" or better. The main thing you'd gain is ride quality.

My kart has a "Suspension", but it rides like a cast iron tire on a cobblestone street. It's more marketing than real suspension, running through a field or over a rough patch of concrete will rough you up pretty good, forget about any real terrain.

Well, an axle kit and everything add's up pretty quick.

It's why I have been fighting the urge to modify mine, I know I'll throw the whole thing out lol. Now that I have one and see how everything works, design seems easy to me, and the shortcomings are obvious.

Not that this is the right forum for this question but does anyone here know if skidoo 340 clutches need to be offset like newer ones? And if so by how much?
