The "other" lawnboy motor used in Russ' kart seemed to do pretty well for itself.

That would be a model F. My first operating prototype. A lot of them still around because of big production numbers in 2 decades.
DuraForce only survived for 7 years...many Thanx to Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and a host of other Environmentalist Wackos too numerous to mention here.

Lawn-Boy never built a 4 cycle engine. 4 cycle Lawn-Boy engines are B&S or Tecumseh.

Really? That's a relief. I hated my friend's 4 stroke Lawnboy.

It would only run in 2 minute intervals, then prime and restart.

On the other hand there was no trace of oil on the dipstick... aha.
