At least 5 to 7 deg. of caster, I wouldn't worry that much on camber.

OK I TOOK THE GO KART FOR ITS MADEN VOYAGE AND I "CRASHED"... LOL :furious2:

I hit hard enough that i had to rebuild the front end! (split tubeing see pic)

Ok now i got it rebuilt and it looks great only one issue it sucks to turn!!!! I cannot figure out what i am doing wrong so i will post pics for comments and answers.....

as you can see in the pics the out side tire of the turn is turning faster than the inside and i belive this to be backwards shoudn't the inside tire turn more? :mad2: :mad2:

WHAT DID I MISS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN? AND HOW DO I FIX IT?

The Kart goes nice and straight and looks good but it would be nice to be able to turn it around to come home! or maybe i should leave it so if the kid wants to run away he cant come back LOL:roflol:

You have reverse acrmen. your inside tire should turn sharper then the outside one. On that kart you have forward steer, so the steering arms on the spindle should point toward the tire, yours points away. You have to cut them off and reweld them facing the tire. To get the correct angle draw a line from the center of the tie rod hole on the spindle arm, through the center of the king pin down to the center of the axle. It should be somewhere between 15 to 20 deg.

OK i got the Ackerman correct now  and it turns ok i just have one Question regarding the Hillard extreme duty cent. clutch..... it works fine on the flats and down hill but when i try to go up my drive way which is not all that steep i make it just about to the top and it gives out and starts to slip i tried to lay the power to it but that did not help either... any tips that could help! or is my clutch just bad!!! :mad2:

Ill try to get pics up as soon as i can on the finished kart before i strip it down to paint it!! :cheers2:

Is the engine governed? I tried to look through this thread but didn't see if it was or not. Maybe I missed it, but if it is, could it be possible that the clutch is not engaging fully?

that is one great looking Kart! How did you connect the throttle at the engine? Would you mind posting some close ups? Don't forget the most important part of the build... Painting it! any colors in mind?

You did a very good job on your buggy. How is the steering wheel on your hands after some hard driving?

Just for interest sake while on the subject of ackerman,
attached (hopefully) is the correct way to determine what
your ackerman angle should be.
