Just checked, mine is part #: 171 941 813 B

There is a difference too, my B terminal is empty and a couple of other things were off too.

Other part numbers on it are 171 941 821 B

wow i need to learn german!! Im gonna have to start asking you to get all my parts for me!!

The first one looks like a spectacular deal. Im not too worried about the relays, and i already have all new fuses. After i did the conversion it came out to around 56 US Dollars which is definitely in my price range... Hey sid... you in the mood to de me a favor??

I currently have the box sitting in that solution i mentioned earlier. Im gonna leave it there over night and until i get home from school tomorrow, then ill take it out and give it a good spraying with the Electric parts cleaner i got at the auto parts store and scrub it down good. Ill post some pics after its all said and done so we can assess the difference right here on the good ol interweb

Well Josh..
I'll leave in a few hours for a week or so.
I owe my wife a calm holiday, so I think I will not be visiting the internet much (if at all)

If you need something from germany, I'll help as much as I can.
But the next week I'm "out of service" :D

If you need to find out about shipping fees from germany to the U.S.
check out dhl.de (upper right corner for english translation)
say a L+W+H less than 90cm package, less than 2kg, trackable is 17.90€ (~$25)
next size (5kg) twice that.

Looks like I'm the one who needs a welcome from being gone sooo long!!! Sorry about that, this past week I've been busy with the other projets, the daily driver (jetta) and the weather hasn't helped out. Plus now we have a pop up camper that neeeds some work done to it.

Either way I was able to gett some work done to the lil rabbit. I finished cleaning up the fusebox with the clr cleaner... it came out ehh cause I only left it in there for a day or 2. Next up were those horrendous plugs. I ziptied a little bag filled with clr cleaner to 3 of the plugs so they would be submerged. Long story short I forgot about them and didn't check on em for like a week. When I came back (much to my surprise) they weren't all deteriorated! In fact they were clean as a whistle after a little wire brushing!!

Maybe today ill hop in the rabbit and try to get allh the electrical stuff plugged up. No promises though since its raining.

Worst part is that I made the mistake of letting my friend take the box out, so wires everywhere,... and no pics.

Yeah im kinda lost on a couple... i got everything on for the most part. One of the plugs from the big red wires (positive battery power) came off so i have to crimp on a new one. Theres on ground wire that has me a little confused... ill grab a picture of it so that you can see. It has one wire going into a relay and then it has a plug, then 2 wires and a terminal. So i know the plug goes to the actual ground spots on the back of the box but the other terminal is just empty for now.

Lastly theres a yellow and red wire with a female end on iit. I couldnt find any other wires that matched it, except at the end i found a blue and yellow wire that was a male end and these were the only two that i couldnt find matches for so i put them together for now??? I havent run power through it yet so i havent done anything harming. Can you just check if thats right??

Ill try and grab pics later today cause my phones photos suck :(

yellow red... hm the watercooling temp reader (dashboard display)
is a single wire yellow-red follow that back to the fusebox.
It has a twin wire (also yellow red) in parallel.. with a female connector
(goes to pin 8 on the dashboard)

The blue-yellow wire I see is responsible for the shift indicator,
but it shouldn't be a single male, but on pos4 of a 6pin male header.

Now the confusing ground wire (always brown)
I don't see ANY going into a relay.. not one; so I'm clueless :(

odd... not many black (or dark grey) wires at all...
So let's identify the relay first, maybe that can help us narrowing down the wire in question ;)
