Erm, no.

So what if it sounds whiney? I doubt a twin can do 14k RPM bone stock, and 17k-20k mod'd up :)

Besides, if he should give anyone the money, it should be me so i can put it into my shifter kart, which will go faster than your mower.

Anyways, have you considered trying to make it L/C? it would be pretty awesome (not practical, but awesome haha).

None actually :D I never have, would love too, but I don't have $2k to go spend on something that can't be ridden around here. Maybe a small <150cc I'd love and go take it mudding in a field, but that's about it. And it'd have to be under $150 LOL.

I just took the head off, would a very rich condition (after letting it sit for two hours, traces of gas on the plug, gas on piston, and gas coating the cylinder) explain the boggy low end? It would rev up slowly... but yeh.

Lmao, Nitrous and Alcohol don't mix in a racing engine. And Oscar you need to ride a real machine like a dirtbike:). I can guarantee you will love the clutch on them compared to a slippy chattery cent clutch like on most karts.

So how exactly do you compare that weedeaters "powerband" to a dirtbikes if you've never ridden one? You have no idea man :D

Try a KTM250, i would describe its power band as a very strong laxative :roflol:

But in all seriousness, those engines 'powerbands' don't come anywhere near a 2 stroke dirt bikes.....

Oscar does not yet know a real 2 stroke L/C powerband. After rebuilding a 2005 Cr85R it would pull the front end up in every gear even with me on the tank. I also rebuilt a RM250 motor this summer and when we hill started it the throttle somehow was stuck wide and the tire shot up in about 0.002 seconds and I shut it off REAL fast.

Ok whatever I shall go get a video now, runs like sheet, but you'll get the idea of the powerband. :p

I still say it's louder and more epix than a 250, 125, you name it :D

Powerbandz ftwcakes.

Stock Honda? Well depends how V-Techy it is LOL. If Honda put a T3 on their stock Civic's, that'd be more comparable :)

Stock family car vs Blown 454 with everything in it, how dare you even compare these two together?!

Lmao, Oscar you make my laugh so hard! There's no way that farty motor scooter motor is louder then a CR125 or CR250 2 stroke liquid cooled race bike even if the scooter was open port. Don't forget Oscar didnt know what a BBC was to start with LOL and turbo a Honda Civic all you wants its not going to touch a blown 454. This is a blown 454. No chance any ricey import would touch it.
