You know, offer $200, he'll say $400, say $225, and haggle to somewhere around $250-300. But too bad I can't bring home another kart without mom mounting me above the fireplace.

be careful with those guys theyre not as honest as they seem. what i mean is that he says it just needs brake fluid. The guy who sold me my kart said the same thing and im still trying to get the brakes bled. ive already build my mastercylinder and nothing. i might need a whole new brake kit. also one of the brake lines was cracked at the tip so my fluid and air would escape through there. the seals were all messed up too in the MC. IDK if its the same with u im just letting u know my past experience with people who say its an "easy fix". Not all people are as honest as they say. be careful is all im saying.

regardless good deal :)

Oh yea. I give anything I buy from CL a solid once over to check it. I usually bring tools and ask if they mind my checking things out. If they say no, I am skeptical and negotiate for less money or ask to look again. When I bought my TC, I played with the motor for a solid half hour because it was an 8HP Tec. flathead and I wanted it but they wanted too much for it not running as it sat so I just left with the TC. :p

So, today as I was coming home from a baseball game I passed one of the greatest sights known to man. Although it was unknow to me. It's a crap load of golf carts. You can see the truck on the bottom of the lot that puts it all into perspective. This is on Rt. 8 in Butler, Pa for anyone who's nearby.

I really have no clue why there are so many. It's a powersports place that sells dirtbikes, quads, golf carts, etc. I've only driven past it a few times in my life and I have no idea. I'd assume you could, but I get the feeling it would be very expensive because they're a dealer and not a scrap yard.

Or just hop the fence under the cover of darkness... KIDDING! I may have to call them. I want some offset rims so that I can run knobbies that are wider than 8.5 inches as my 8.5 inch turf savers nearly hit my recoil housing. It's tough finding a reasonable price on offset 4 on 4 rims. Getting 18x9.5-8 knobbies isn't tough at all.

Hey red your last link might be a good investment, some of those rear-engine racers sell for big bucks!

BM, those minibikes are a deal too, I'd be all over those for the resale value.

I see Killdozer style all over that. Machine down the track drive for a sprocket and your ready to go.

Is that fan cooled engine? Does it have the shrouds and air box?

You could even bypass the reduction unit trans and add a pillow block in it's place. Then just run a sprocket off the upper jack shaft.
