I Bought A Few Months Back A Yerf Dog 30034 RED 2 Seater Go Kart W/Tecumseh Engine For $250.oo From A Guy (turned on fine before & after purchase then stopped,i have it covered & protected from elements).I Looked For A While & Found Which I Hope Is The Right Users/Ops Manual.I Don't Know Much About The Size Of This & That (manual doesn't really tell me much) & I've Been Trying To get As Much Knowledge On Go Karts & Their Accompaning Parts & What They Do.Since My Father In-Law Has Passed Away A Few Months Ago It's Left Me At A Disadvantage & So I've Been Kinda' Carefully Reading & Poking Around The Kart & The Engine We Had Bought For The Frame. It's Pretty Much Stock (so the guy said).Except For The Floor Pan (30mph sign),Seatbelts & Rear view Mirror(off of a 92 chrysler new yorker)Redid The Seat White Vinyl, Bought A Push Buton Kill Swith,Put New Bolts/washer/nuts(originals were missing & or rusted, not right size/strength/warped/stripped ect. It's For My Kids (9 & 2yr, I have a car seat ready) & The Kid In Me.I Have Some Questions & I Hope You Guys Can Help Me. 1.What's A Live Axel? 2.Would I Get Some Accel/Speed If I Change The Shaft/Chain Sprocket To The Next Size Down? 3.How Would I Know What #chain I Have? 4.How Tight Does The Chain Need To Be? 5.What Type Of Brakes/Parts Would The Typical Riding Mower Have That Would Be Usable On A Kart (my yerfdog)? What Kind Of Oil Shoul I Be UsingManual Says 30 But I've Put In Penzoil 10w30.I've Read That Some Use5w30 & Or Synthetic/Addatives Pros & Cons On Oils For The 6.5HP Harbor Freight Engine? 6.Kibble Drew A Diagram For A Starter/Solenoid For A Go Kart To Just Go Reverse(instead of driver/pass doing turning the kart themselves) How Would One Hook That Up? 7.How Would I Know The Type Of Shaft & Diameter If The Manual Doesn't Say (thinking of changing rims ect) 8.How Can I Change The Idle Without Stalling Or Reving It Untill I Press The Gas Peddal If I Set The Choke High The Tires Engage,If I Slide The Choke Lever All The Way Down The Kart Just Sits There Idling.I Want The Kart To Change Speeds At The peddal & Not Reaching Over While In Motion To Adjust Speeds At The Choke (moderate speeds for the older kids 18 & up including me & Slow speed for the kids under 18). Well I Hope I Wasn't Too Much Of Trouble with The Questions. Also there Are Some Pics Of The Kart (hope I Load Them Right) Thank You For Your Time & Expertise. Anthony
