Thank you, but I would imagine anyone who actually does it for a living would be appalled by my methods! More of a subtractive method add more than you need and sand down to the shape I want.

Great looking project. I'm working on a "mini truck" that requires a lot of fiberglass work. It takes a ton of planning and makes a huge mess. The worst part is that as soon as you cut or sand it the microscopic fibers will find you and make you itch, no matter how well you protect yourself.

You're doing a great job.

Do you suppose there will be a 2025 build-off contest? You're likely to win, but you give me inspiration and something to strive for.

Thanks guys! Jamie p, I know, it's been so long that I forgot about how sneaky fiberglass is about getting past any defenses! But also realized and remember how quick I got use to it! I don't know anything about build off. Been crazy at work but it is about to get started again. Striped it back down to bare frame to start the rear frame and suspension. Updates coming soon.

this is a crazy build i love your fiberglass work how do you get it so wheel i have never done fiberglass work but i have wanted to build a funny car body (drag racing) do you make cardboard mock-ups?

No I don't do that I just cut and form the insulation board, foam core or therma to shape and tape it together
