IMO, pic #1 in post #134 shows a brake pedal...

Even with the upper frame rail, a matching gas pedal can be mounted to the lower rail &, by using a flat washer or two, it should clear the top rail...

I'll find a way to mount the pedal that will work for me. Right now I'm trying to figure out how this goes together.

I am thinking something like this, There is a small hole drilled in the bolt then the two nuts pinch the cable.
But get another opinion first cause this way requires cutting the ball of that cable.

Afaik, traditionally, the holes are for a rod...

Apparently, there are a few options you can purchase, a bicycle brake cable anchor bolt is just one...

I could just cut it off and drill a hole thru the threads of a bolt and tighten the nut down on it. That would probably be the easiest way.

Hey guys, long story short the machinist has "misplaced" my axle and I am tired of waiting for a solution so I'm just going to buy a new one. I am wonder what keeps this rim from continuing to slide down the axle when you tighten the axle nut? Do I need to purchase something additional?

Also how to I tighten down my CC? I used a bolt and washer and it just keeps pushing the key out of the keyway as I tighten it before it's even remotely snug.

Once you get your new axle, center it up with the rims on each side. I use a piece of 1" ID tubing as a spacer between the rim and bearing on each side. You simply measure the distance you need and cut the tubing to length.

Most if not all cent clutches have an integral key part of the driver element of the clutch.
Dont need to add another key.

Shaft collars work to hold the wheels or tube spacers like above. If you use the tube spacers, if at all possible make sure that they are fitting well that they dont contact the shield of a bearing but the inner race, at the least.

What they said.
Oh Welcome back! and
NO Never WELD Anything to the Axle. The Tube method just acts as a spacer between the bearings and the Wheel.
I use Shaft Collars. There are two types.
1. Cheap is just a collar with a set screw.
2. is a "Split" type collar that when screwed together Clamps tighter to the axle. These are superior.

I can take a picture of mine when i get home. Thought i had one on my phone...

Just a 1" id pipe slides on axle between bearing and tire?

I've seen some collars? that might work? im sticking with my 1" pipe spacer

Hey guys, havn't forgot about ya'll just been busy. I got some more goodies in and have made more progress. I am considering removing the governor in the motor but I don't want to open it up and have to replace gaskets and such. Will that be the case? I also have to figure out this whole gas peddle ordeal. Still brainstorming that so it will probably happen last. Still need wheel hubs, the ones I bought weren't the right bolt pattern and can't seem to find ones like my old ones.
