how could you attach two small five horse engines so you get a big 10 horse beast, i think a gear or a chain would do? idk the timeing would be hard but worth it :devil2:

Easy stuff, Identical engines with identical clutches, carbs, air filters and exhausts both running the same live axle, split cables are easy to find.

Chain both engines to a shared jackshaft at a 1:1 ratio, then put the single clutch on the jackshaft connecting it to the live axle. You will need a clutch which is rated for 10hp or more.

Me too, but I prefer to keep things as simple as possible.
Complex = $$$
Simple = ¢¢¢

2 engines
2 clutches
2 chains
2 sprockets
(Jackshaft not part of my vocabulary. Unnecessarily robs power.)
Done
These engines (WIP) are not yet identical.

When that thing is done you do realize the odds of it maintaining traction in a 1/8" of fresh hot road tar are 1000000000000000000:1. Right?
