Ok through the twisted sprial web of confusion....typically known as the YouTube.... I came across a style of racing from the philippines, Known as Ligiron racing...
Basically a wooden downhill kart, no brakes(well your feet, hands, and quite possibly your body if unlucky to have used it in this fashion), wooden wheels shod with a tread from what looks like a motorcycle/scooter(most likely), Bamboo "body"(we'll call it a frame{kart vernacular}). there is no real metal in it this except maybe nails or tacks. Mostly held together via the rest of the tire that shod the wheels.
......They ride this in the bush.......and some paved parts(now)....
But mainly dirt paths.
This apparently is an ancient sport and had a revival via some enthusiasts interested in their history, and to preserve some thing of the past.
I have to admire the folks around the world that take "nothing" and make something, from around the world.
But for me, this tops the whole wooden kart debate.......
OK..OK..OK....... I know the main contender with the "wooden kart" we typically talk about here has a motor....... excluding that......
....... dems have some balls....
Oh I totally want to build one... No hills here, but Im willing to consider this and a find a hill to race..... The misses will kill me when she finds out whats next on the list of crazy... oh well.
long boards... pshaaa... over rated....
drift trike...
Ligiron...... oh yaaa.

I would tend to think that the leaf cutters would probably be a safer ant hill to use....
