well, had a little trouble with her, put an dyno cs cam, header, and air filter on it. Drying down the road "torquey as ****" and i start hearing a scrapping noise. Bring it home to find my chain smacking into the driven. so i pull all apart to find the jackshaft bent. i guess why these are only rated to 8hp

That sucks. I used a 3/4" JS just to stay on the beefy side.

That sucks. I use the same diameter Jackshaft with my 13 hp engine, just longer on a different mount and it is fine. I wonder if it did that because the sprocket/driven are on the same side.

Either way that blows.

Most likely. Or maybe was just a bad unit. Ordered the replacement part. Should be here monday
